INTRODUCTION


                                                         Teaching aids are required by a teacher for effective teaching of subjects and to realise various objectives of teaching.Such barriers of communication can be over come by using special aids appealing to the sence of the receives along with managing the communication along certain principles in order to supplement the different teaching methods,the teacher uses various media.Such media are correctively known as audio-visual aids.Audio -visual aids assist a teacher in providing suitable learning experiences to learners in the form of audio- visual perceptions that would help them aquire new information more effectively.Such experience would help to make impressions meaningful and long lasting and to develop skills.
