MICRO TEACHING AND ICT

                                MICRO TEACHING

Micro teaching was introduced in india in 1967 with the humble attempt made by D.D.Tiwari of Government Central Pedagogical Institute,Allahabad.In 1970 G.B.Shaw expermented with micro teaching at M.S.University Baroda.Then the technical teachers training institute Madras introduced micro teaching to train the technical teachers.In 1947 Dr.N.L.Dosajh used micro teaching as a teaching device in teachers training institute chandigarh.He also wrote a book namely modification of teacher behaviour through micro teaching.Micro teaching techniques was first adopted at Stanford University ,USA in 1961 by Dwight.W.Allen and his co-workers and is now followed in many countries with modified and improved versions.

 DEFINITION
     Allen defined Micro teaching as "scaled down teaching encounter in class size and class time".
CHARACTERISTICS OF MICRO TEACHING

  1. It is a scaled down teaching 
  2. It is less complex than regular teaching 
  3. It involes lesser number of students, usually 5 to 10
  4. It's duration is short about 5 to 10 minutes

on questioning .During a lesson the teacher will have to ask different type of questions depending on the situation and purpose to be achieved .

                                      The famous work entitled"Rules and Great Leaders of India" was written by L.F.Rushbrook william published by indian publications.The work consist about 287 pages and contain about mainly greatest rules of india .There are 15 chapters include in this book.

TOPIC :INTRODUCTION OF RESEARCH IN SOCIAL SCIENCE EDUCATION-NEED AND IMPORTANCE 

                                    Reasearch is composed of two words "re" and "search" which means to search again or a careful investigation to re-undearstand or re-examine the facts or to search for few facts or to modify older ones in any branch of knowledge .The origin of research is curiosity.It,therefore,means a continued search for knowledge and understanding.Social research is that part of research which studies human behaviour as a part of society.Social research seeksto find explanation to unexplained social phenomena, to clarify the doubtful and correct the mis conceived facts of social life.

                                STORY OF SHAHJAHAN

                                                      Shahjahan the fifth soverign in the line of Great Moguls , is known to the world as the "Builder of the Taj" born at Lahore .Among his tutors mention should be made of the distinuished scholar Sufi Mulla Qasim Tabrezi ,of Hakim Ali Gilani,of shaikh sufi,and of shaikh Abul Khayr,brother of shaikh Abul Fazal.  
                                                      Akbar had carried out many experiments in the field of education and he wanted to make khurram a cultured prince of comprehensive imagination,agile intellect and of a practical and resurceful bend of mind. His son Salim had not shaped after his heart.He therefore, longed to see that the latter were not repeated in his grandson.Kurram ,unlike his world. He formed noble ideals:his own ambition was to follow the example of his illustrious grandfather in every walk of life .
