FIELD TRIP
INTRODUCTION
First year batch of B.Ed conducted a one day field on 20.11.2015.We started from the college to Puthenmalika museam on a tourist bus on 20.11.2015 at 8.30 .We reached kuthiramalika at 9:45 a.m.Kuthiramalika is a place built by Swathi Thirumal RamaVarmaon the south eastern side of Pathmanabha swami temple on Thiruvananthapuram.The place gets its name from 122 horses that are craved in to the wooden wall brackets that support the Southern roof.The official name of the place is Puthanmalika.the placec froms parts of a vast complex of royal building in the voinity of Padmanabha swami temple .
Priyadarshini Planetorium is one of the most significant and advanced Planetorium on India.We reached Planetorium is situated in the science city of Thiruvananthapuram.The museam is located inside the compounds of the Kerala science and technology museum.The Planetorium was opend in 1994 to the public this is one of the most vesatile Planetorium on the country.There is a special galleries for electrical ,electronics.Mechanical automobile and bio-medical engineering.There is a special gallery for popular science also for solar energy,mathematics,computer scince and space science arev other disciplines having galleries of their own.After visit the galleries we saw a 3D show in Planetorium .
Our next distination was Kerala state Legislative Assembly.We reached there around '2'o clock.Niyamasabha Mandiram located inThiruvananthapuram built primary in the classical style of Architecture of Kerala with strong influence of many contemporary style.It is a structure with grand stair case ,grandenswater bodies and large central Assembly Hall.The Assembly was opened on 22 may 1998 by the president of india K.P.Narayan.
Next we saw the Niyamasabha Mandiram.The entire structure is a large square with for frontages with each beings supported by 40 pillare.The main entrance focus west.The seal of Kerala inscribed in it.The central hall has 140 seats set in an amphitheatre style with a grand podium for the speaker and 3 seats of jury tables for the executive staff.
